These aren't just any chocolate-covered strawberries – they're little bites of heaven! Picture this: perfectly ripe, juicy strawberries enrobed in silky-smooth chocolate with a gorgeous shine that'll make your guests gasp!

Ingredients

  • For the Base Recipe:
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries about 20-24 berries
  • 12 ounces high-quality semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Optional Toppings because why not go extra?! 😉:
  • 4 ounces white chocolate
  • ¼ cup crushed pistachios
  • ¼ cup toasted coconut flakes
  • ¼ cup crushed freeze-dried raspberries

Instructions

  • Prep Those Beautiful Berries (5 minutes)
  • Gently wash your strawberries (treat them like the queens they are!)
  • Pat them dry with paper towels – and I mean REALLY dry
  • Let them reach room temp (cold berries are NOT our friends here)
  • Set Up Your Dipping Station (5 minutes)
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Get your toppings ready in small bowls
  • Clear some fridge space (trust me, you'll thank me later!)
  • Chocolate Time! (10 minutes)
  • Fill your saucepan with 2 inches of water and bring to a simmer
  • Place chocolate and coconut oil in a heat-safe bowl
  • Set bowl over simmering water (not touching the water!)
  • Stir gently until smooth and glossy (about 5 minutes)
  • The Grand Dipping! (15 minutes)
  • Hold each berry by its leaves (like you're holding a tiny umbrella!)
  • Dip at a 45-degree angle (that's the sweet spot!)
  • Twirl as you lift (this is where the magic happens!)
  • Place on parchment paper
  • Add any toppings while chocolate is still wet
  • The Finishing Touch (15 minutes)
  • Pop those beauties in the fridge for EXACTLY 15 minutes
  • No peeking! (I know it's hard, but patience pays off!)
